If our time comes to go, Niki will follow

At the age of 26, Niki has been living with multiple disabilities since birth, a condition caused by the cytomegalovirus infection her mother suffered in the 8th month of pregnancy. She requires home care and institutional support. She can’t move on her own and spends most of her time in a wheelchair or in bed. She is on regular medications against muscle spasm and epileptic seizure. She can’t speak and needs to be fed. She often grinds her teeth.
